We are seeking a passionate person to fill the position of Electrical Controls Engineer at our headquarters in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and improvement of controls systems for manufacturing machines.

The engineer will:

  • Design and document PLC control system architecture for machine builds
  • Assemble, configure, and test control systems (Includes wiring and plumbing of equipment builds)
  • Program and debug control systems using input from Engineering and Production team members
  • Incorporate safety and the needs of operators, technicians, and maintenance into the design process
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics and other technical information required to ensure proper documentation of controls systems
  • Provide troubleshooting and support to production equipment, both new and old

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience designing controls systems and specifying and integrating components (Required)
  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI programming (Required)
  • Experience with servo motion control and analysis (Required)
  • Experience with Mitsubishi PLC’s and motion controls (Preferred)
  • Ability to create, read, and interpret electrical schematics (Required)
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical and machine safety standards and Safety Risk Assessments (Preferred)
  • AutoCAD Electrical (Preferred)
  • Ability to manage projects of varying size involving multiple departments (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Experience level: 1 year

Schedule: 8 hour shift (Monday to Friday)

Ability to commute/relocate: Bedford, NH 03110: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
