We are seeking an experienced technician to fill an Electro-mechanical Technician role at our headquarters in Bedford, NH.

As an Electro-mechanical Technician at Wire Belt, you will…

Be responsible for diagnosing and repairing production machinery. This includes fabricating, testing, analyzing and adjusting precision electro-mechanical components according to technical drawings and other specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production by maintaining and repairing purchased and proprietary manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot production equipment issues using operator feedback, observation, deductive reasoning, measuring tools, and institutional knowledge
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision (individually and as part of a team)
  • Must be able to use computers to complete required work order repair documentation
  • Help maintain inventory of maintenance parts through cycle counts, bin stocking and used part evaluation (i.e. fix or pitch)
  • Must be familiar with PLCs, VFDs, servos, sensors, etc. to diagnosis and repair production equipment
  • Support facilities by performing tasks related to building maintenance (replace light fixtures, other simple electrical work)
  • Work with Production and Engineering teams to improve production equipment and processes
  • Support a safe and healthy work environment through work practices (e.g. Arc Flash procedures)
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and at least three years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret manuals, technical drawings, schematics and procedures. Ability to write reports and general correspondence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
