Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing production machinery. This includes fabricating, testing, analyzing and adjusting precision electro-mechanical components according to technical drawings and other specifications. Work performed includes planned maintenance and unplanned repairs as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose common problems with proprietary production equipment
  • Perform planned maintenance and unplanned repairs to equipment to ensure reliability standards and uptime targets are met.
  • Understand different types of sensors ( e.g. optical, capacitive, reed, etc)
  • Support inventory control of maintenance parts
  • Provide support for facilities when and as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering to support production
  • Review projects to ensure departmental metrics and goals are met.
  • Work to support a safe and healthy work environment.

Additional Duties:

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Programmable Logic Controllers: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
