NOTICE: Wire Belt Company of America will be closed November 28th and 29th for Thanksgiving

Integrity and innovation in our practices promotes company growth while also earning respect and trust. We hope to earn that not just from our customers but from all our fellow inhabitants of this planet – which is why we are constantly committed to implementing sustainable technology and policies in our facilities. We take our environmental practices very seriously, being one of the few manufacturing companies to be ISO 14001 registered, with audited programs to reduce, reuse, remove, and recycle. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our commitment to sustainable energy, and that has more than doubled in size since our move from Londonderrry to our new headquarters in Bedford, NH.

Wire Belt’s Net Zero Energy Goal:

Sustainable Energy
  • 2,455 individual solar panels
  • Projected yearly output: 1.328 GWh (Giga Watt Hour) = 1,328,000 kWh/year
  • Average American home uses 10,632 kWh/year – we could power about 125 homes!

In an effort to “leave it better than we found it”, we left behind 1,042 solar panels that ReVision Energy installed on the roof of our previous Londonderry, NH building so that the new tenants can utilize the 274 kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system. Each year, the system in Londonderry will generate roughly 289,933 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of driving over 528,856 miles – nearly 60 times the perimeter of the United States – in a gas-powered car.

This energy production is all from our Bedford, New Hampshire headquarters – our facilities in the UK and Germany are also solar-powered, reducing our footprint internationally.
