We’re seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Account Manager at our headquarters in Bedford, NH. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our inside sales and sales operations support team. You won’t be making outbound sales calls; instead, you’ll focus on working directly with our customers to field questions and process orders and quotes.

As an Account Manager at Wire Belt, you will…

Support the sales function of the organization by collaborating with Field Sales Representatives, Technical Service Staff, and directly engaging with customers via phone and email. Your responsibilities will include addressing inquiries, conveying information, processing orders, and providing quotes for Wire Belt products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles, coordinates, and responds to all incoming telecommunications (phone, e-mail, voice-mail, fax, etc.) inquiries from customers and potential customers.
  • Processes requests for and documents all customer proposals through the ERP system.
  • Responsible for documentation and updates in the corporate CRM system to maintain and update the company’s knowledge base.
  • Processes customer purchase orders through the ERP system’s order management module and ensures accuracy of all aspects of customer orders.
  • Communicates frequently with field sales team to transfer knowledge of customer issues, customer requests, and general information related to accounts.
  • Works closely with technical services to help customers determine the correct solution for particular applications.
  • Must learn and know Wire Belt product nomenclature and designations in order to handle and process customer requests for information, quotations, and order processing.

Additional Duties:

  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to complete business tasks. Ability to recognize problems, collect data, establish facts, and relay information to the appropriate team members.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate a variety of technical product information, and product specifications to others
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College and at least two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Account management or customer service experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Technical proficiency
  • Adaptability with a customer-focused mindset
