Manufacturing Technician I

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for ensuring production standards are met and quality and timeliness goals are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble Standard Meshes.
  • Assemble Finger Strength Meshes.
  • Assemble Compound/Align Belts.
  • Assemble Delicate Meshes.
  • WAD Weave.
  • Produce Manual Ends.
  • Assemble Compact Grid.
  • Perform Inspection.
  • Assemble Versa Link.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED and one to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two-three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to add and subtract fractional measurements. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
